Welcome to The ENVIRONMENTAL MONTESSORI SCHOOL (EMS) web site. Our school has a limited enrollment and educates Pre-School and Kindergarten age children. The EMS is located inside the Environmental Education Center (EEC) at 190 Lord Stirling Road, Basking Ridge, New Jersey 07980.

We have been educating children in an academic setting since 1981. The many gifted and talented graduates of the EMS are recognized by the local schools for their advanced academic skills. Your child will have the unique opportunity to explore and learn about the 430- acre nature preserve located right outside our classroom under the guidance of the EMS teachers and certified Naturalists. We can provide your child with a unique, enjoyable and exciting learning experience that will lay a solid foundation for their future education. The EMS accepts only 35 students per year.
