The SCW collective has been around since 1982 publishing eco-friendly, peace-oriented, social justice books, stickers,
posters, T's, and a yearly Peace calendar that includes chronicles of all kinds of social justice events. For example,
the entry for January 16th says "1991-President Bush (#1) launches Gulf War on Iraq.
Stated reason-- "liberate" Kuwait. Real reason-- oil."

The LRC began in 1971 and sponsors a variety of events and support services for women, lesbian or not, in
the Seattle Area. I particularly love their Business Listings where you can locate queer-friendly organizations to use
and support.
